Murder mystery at the set while filming "The Death Kiss" starring David Manners as a writer turning detective. Fairly entertaining movie going through the clues always being one step ahead of the police. For movie fans the most interesting thing about this one is that it features Bela Lugosi in one of the parts. And no, he's not a monster here unless you think studio managers are nasty creatures. But Lugosi doesn't get to do much here. Just one of many potential murderers....

This is an enjoyable, including at times very funny, whodunnit mystery that is even more appealing due to the story taking place on a film set, which provides some interesting insights into movie making in the 1930s. It's a fast-paced and slick film.

Bela Lugosi isn't in this much but while watching the film I was struck with the thought that Lugosi would've made an amazing Hercule Poirot. The movie itself is fast-paced and lightweight with the biggest plus being that the film takes place on the actual movie lot.

O beijo da morte tinha sua première há 90 anos nos EUA. Engraçado ver esse no dua seguinte de O Jogador, lógico que esse murder mistery nem se compara, mas não deixa de ser uma sátira hollywoodiana também. Box OP Bela Lugosi.
