...extremely dissappointing. You can always judge a movie on how good the villain was, and in this movie the villain was really lame, a rip off of previous Disney villains like Christopher Walken in The Country Bears...think about that...Disney ripped off The Country Bears, they're own lame movie, that's desperation. ...actually I love Country Bears, it was way more entertaining than this.

Going in expecting little, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this is a very enjoyable little film. Although there are some issues with the time travelling antics creating plot holes here and there, I found none of these problems really obtrusive and the film has a kind of infectous charm that sweeps right over any such flaws. Both the images of the future portrayed are also interesting and I found the true villain of the film to actually be a rather good one. No character development.

Some consider this lesser Disney, but it really works. The time travel family drama with the most ineffective villain ever. Wonderfully eccentric.

(2014-15 Disneython #41:) Well I'll be damned - this was very good! The animation is the weakest part; plasticky and simplistic, especially compared to the gorgeous Ratatouille that came out the same year. But the relationships between the characters, the story, and the moral about how family is forged more by the bonds of love than just blood relation, work completely. It also contains the most Shyamalan-y "What a twist!" latter-act plot reveal of any mainline Disney film, which I enjoyed.

I feel bad for William Joyce that this didn't turn out better. Like all modern Disney it looks great but has the brains of a tapeworm and the entertainment value of dust. Somebody please get Walt's brain out of cryogenics and thaw it out. It's time.

Who has a montage less than ten minutes into their movie? They spend no time at all developing any of the characters, and since there a many characters it's quite a jarring experience. Also, the plot twist is so painfully obvious that I don't actually think it's intended to be a surprise, or at least I hope that it wasn't.

Meet the Robinsons is an inconsistent effort in the Disney canon. There is real humor and emotion to be found from the last talking intelligent characters. However the story is a bit rushed in places and the climax fells underwhelming. The running gag of Tom Selleck is well constructed and pays off perfectly.

I enjoyed it. Good, clean animation and a sweet center at the story. I also thought the characters were likable and genuine, albeit underdeveloped. The main character is developed fine though, and worth rooting for. It won't go down as one of the best from Disney Animation Studios, but o throughly enjoyed it.

While it's colorfully imaginative, heartfelt, and has a fair amount of strong gags, "Meet the Robinsons" is far too overstuffed and hyperactive for its own good.

You can't take the concepts like time travel paradox too seriously, and that's something you do have to let go, but it was entertaining, it had a good moral... heck, it was inspiring. It was worth seeing.

This is one of the best kids movies EVER! In a genre saturated with shameless marketing ploys this is a breathe of fresh air. Sure not as engaging for adults as a Pixar film, but if you give into your inner child the movie's charm will be sure to win you over.

The Bowler Hat dystopian future was the only good thing about this movie. Oh, but that old Mickey Mouse cartoon that was played before the movie was kind of awesome. Disney should do that more often.

A delightful and enjoyable time-traveling portal Sci-Fi family animation that delivers a message stronger than words and more sturdy than bones. The only flaws is the plotholes within the futuristic turn and the lame attempt at a villian (Come on, the guy is a big enough pussy to get his ass whipped by a tiny contraption).

This film has no villain. Sure, you may be fooled by the guy in the mustache, but he poses no psychological or physical threat, what with all his bumbling and moping. And because there's no threat, there's no conflict, which means there's no plot, which means nothing happens except a T-rex talks about his little hands.

Though it says something that I'm reviewing this eleven years after the film's release, this is horribly forgettable. I remember watching this when I was a kid, but it just doesn't hold up in any respect. The humor is bland, though it has its moments, the animation is quite rough, and the film just feels too light to have any major impact. Not my cup of tea, I guess.

Little flick that seems to have been erased from the Disney cannon. While it's nothing mindbending it has an inspiring message, some heartwarming moments and though it involves time travel, everything's wrapped up satisfyingly in the end. Even so too much plot, ideas, backstories and wacky characters are crammed into these 90 minutes and as a result the movie feels underdeveloped, though individually all these elements were promising. Enjoyable, but ultimately it lacks depth.

To an adult, some plot elements of time travel movies are just completely predictable, and there wasn't much done here to make up for that. Due to that reality, disliking the visual styling, and finding the stupidity of the apparent villain annoying, I was uninterested until about 2/3 of the way through when what I would call the "true villain" was revealed. However, I absolutely adored watching everything fall into place, and I actually happy-cried at the very end.

The computer animations looked very dated. The plot is too frantic. In contrast to the common opinion I found the balder hat villain very funny, because he was so stupid and pathetic. He saved the movie for me. Also because of the (unsurprising) reveal of his true identity.

Seen: 2. I completely forgot that I had seen this before. And that is fitting, because it is a lesser Disney movie that has a light, inconsequential touch and tone. The consequences fail to mount and, despite best efforts at trying something new, the villainy is weak. To top it off, the animation is subpar. There is a beating heart at the center of it all, and it shines through here and there.

Filmin sonunda, her şey güzel olacak. Köpek niye gözlük takıyor? Çünkü sigortası lenslerini karşılamıyor.

Energetic to a fault, and has some good fun with the perils of time travel paradoxes almost ala BACK TO THE FUTURE, but is hampered by a too loud and busy appeal to younger kids, making much of it a bit exhausting and numbing; the animation is acceptable, but lacks the grace and fluidity of even more middling efforts of the era. Still it's enthusiastically performed (West’s dulcet tones are always welcome) and is a passable way to spend 90 minutes, but doesn’t stand up to Disney’s usual output.
