About half way in I thought to myself, they have to be taking the piss. This is like a Bollywood version, random and confusing scenes, terrible corny dialogue ("you're my best friend"), a multitude of shallow unresolved storylines. Dunst and Maguire are terrible. The only coherent action scene is a boxing match between Harry and Peter, and half the film looks like a cheap videogame.

This movie was way to busy. Scale back a few of the villians. Venom should have been a stand alone villian. Mary Janes story was the best arch in the movie.

Beter than the second, but not as good as the first. The overall plotline was a little too much to cram into a single movie, but aside from that they did a good job.

Overall, this movie had some great back and forth. The push and pull from the different parts of the plot is intriguing. As always, the special effects were off-the-charts awesome. The "Bad Peter" scene needed some refining and editing, but if you fast forward through it, the rest of the movie is good with lots of surprising twists

The last part was perhaps trying a bit too hard, and the amount of villains would fit 2 movies better than a single one. I guess the amount of CGI did not help as it was not as neat as the practical effects from the 2 previous movies. Emo Peter was hilarious though, when you think the worst he got inside of himself is dressing in black and being the most awkward sleaze you've ever seen.

Stumbles when Venom gets introduced and they turn Sandman into a big monster. The rest is solidly done, even if this story was blatantly not where they were heading with this trilogy.

This third outing for spiderman was just as good as the previous two. It was entertaining and the story was enjoyable. Fitting three big spiderman stories into one movie was a tough feat and I thought this movie pulled it off. The dark side of the story also played out well and so I would recommend watching this movie.

Underappreciated and overly memed, Spider-Man 3 nevertheless buckles under its own weight. There's too much stuffed into the script, too many villains, too much mess. But strip it back, and there's still a lot of charm and great scenes throughout. Contrary to the internet and its many memes, the transformation of Parker into his darker, envenomed self is a hilarious highlight, and one of only a few scenes where Raimi shines through.

I remember this movie fondly. It's hardly highbrow, and its quality isn't very good, but I remember watching it when I was young and thinking it was fast-paced and fun (it was, but that's not what I care about when I watch a movie now). It will always have some place in my heart, but it's not a very good movie.

The first time one of these dumb super-hero movies really made me feel for the character. Although each character is pretty emotionally simple, the "even good people can do bad things" message was really well done. It did have its cheesy moments, despite the fact that I love Raimi's style. But this was my favorite out of a pretty great series

While not the worst movie (or superhero movie) ever, Spider-Man 3 is a dip in quality compared to the previous movies. This is one of those movies that tries to do too much and does very little of it well. If the plot was more focused, only had one main villain or even one and Harry's struggle between being good or evil, I think we would have had a better movie. It's not awful, but it is going to disappoint coming off the first two movies.

I was more disappointed with the theater audience's reaction to the end of a particular scene involving conflict between (dark)Spidey and his former best-friend than I was with the movie as a whole (which still had its own flaws...). They cheered when I felt the more appropriate emotional response should have been dismay. I suppose the story tellers were not entirely responsible for the audience's reaction, but it played a critical role in effecting my experience of the movie.

This is a shining example of how shoving TOO MUCH into a movie will kill it. I was extremely disappointed in this film. It felt crowded and the story, which was actually two or three seperate ones, never got off the ground due to time constraints. Too many different characters to care about, and not enough time devoted to any of them. This was a movie made for sequel's sake and a huge letdown for the final installment of the original trilogy.

The action in this latest installment will not disappoint, just as in the previous two Spider-Man movies. The story was predictable, and maybe it's just me, but I liked the "bad", "black" Spider-Man better than the "real" Spider-Man (not the bad Peter Parker though, who was just a presumptuous twit). Spider-Man shouldn't be opposed to killing the bad guys, nor should he forgive criminals, even if they have sympathetic motives.

One of the most fun movies there are. The fight scenes between Harry and Peter are really cool. Both dance scenes are absolutely hilarious. There are tons of quotable lines as well. The dark Peter Parker is actually not that bad, but Venom is not good. If this had been just a Peter vs Harry film then the series would have probably gotten a 4th and 5th installment which is a shame because this is my favorite Spiderman series, even more so than the MCU movies we got that were also really good.

The only reason this movie has gotten so many bad reviews is because it doesn't actually follow the Comic Book storyline. Just to let all of you know, just because you're nerds and you're offended that Sam Raimi didn't follow everything EXACTLY as how it should be, doesn't mean the movie is bad. The action scenes, emotion, and special effects were phenomenal. Get over it.

There are many story gaps, but the action is rolling quick enough that the audience isn't likely to notice that fact until after the movie. Emo Spider-man is an embarrassment, but if you ignore that part of movie it over all isn't that bad. Sandman was particularly well done.

Villains were poorly planned out this time, making the movie fall flat. I place the blame firmly on Raimi, as he apparently was interviewed saying that he just wasn't behind Venom as a character, which kinda let the rest of the movie down. Great job on Sandman's origin, maybe you should have given him some more screen time?

It has faults -- bright, comic-booky faults that I am entirely willing to forgive. The first movie was jammed with action and took little time to slow down, and the second had a deeper, more dramatic side but sometimes started to drag. This compromise between the two -- with the drama handled more deftly and the action more thrilling -- is the best of the bunch. And that's what's really amazing.
