What are the odds of getting even? Danny Ocean (Clooney) and the gang would have only one reason to pull off their most ambitious and riskiest casino heist -- to defend one of their own. But they're going to need more than luck on their side to break The Bank. (Warner Bros.)

A lot of people are saying it's better than the second but still not as good as the first. That's because it's the case. It's got some superb style, great colours, a plot that's not so complex it's just silly and above all it's entertaining. Sure it's been done before but if you liked the first one you'll like this one.

Back to being fun, this movie redeemed my hope that threequels could make up for terrible sequels. Then I saw X-men: The Last Stand. Then I saw The Matrix Revolutions. Then I saw Star Wars Episode III. Then I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. Then I saw Jurassic Park III. Then I saw American Wedding. Then I saw Scream 3. Then I saw...

The Ocean's trilogy has turned out to be a series of "redo"s more than a continuing plotline, in this context: Ocean's Eleven is the original, Ocean's Twelve is Ocean's Eleven on vacation, and Ocean's Thirteen is Ocean's Eleven-lite. It's a return to the frantic pace and imagination of the original, except everything is a bit less. You know what is coming next, you know these characters, and you know how close you are to the end. Even if it feels to cozy for its own good, its a fun film.

Excellent entertainment. There is no twist this time, but after 12's ending fell flat on its face, the change is welcome. No, this time the gang just wants vengeance -- they don't have to win so long as the other guy loses. When 'the other guy' is Al Pacino, casts don't get much more watchable than this. Soderbergh stuffs it full of glitzy Vegas style, and the movie seems to get better every time I watch it. Caan and Affleck usually steal the show in these pictures -- this one's no exception.

Mehhh. They could have stopped a lot sooner. Again the team up of Brad Pitt and George Clooney, but in much more deboneaur roles. Unfortunately, this just perpetuates the first Oceans movie and tells America that we don't have enough good ideas at this point so let us crank out another sequel. Sure it is worth a watch, but don't be surprised when you are watching this and you go haven't I seen this before why am I watching it again. Steven Soderbergh is why but not enough.

Example of a bad heist movie. I couldn't make myself care about any of the characters, or the story. They plan a heist, they make a heist. Nothing goes wrong. Where's all the excitement? Waste of bunch of good actors.

Actually it's pretty weird to see Al Pacino in such a film. I didn't really enjoy his character, but then again, I didn't like most of the film. Again the movie is inventive and I'm glad to say it's better in every way than the second film. But, the reason the first film was such a success, the ability to bring a solid and perhaps difficult story swift and with a lot of humour, was again far off here. They created a splendid first film. I wish they would have left it by that.

Some of the cast is wasted which is to be expected with such a huge ensemble. This is better than the 2nd one in the series. Ellen Barkin makes a great addition to the cast. There are enough entertaining moments for me to recommend the film.

This time, the plot isn't moving at such an accelerated speed that it forgets its earlier moments. We can follow along this time, and while it's still missing the special something from Ocean's Eleven, I still had fun. The actors are still, well, high profile actors for a reason, and there is actually a good reason to pull off one big heist this time, which I was very glad about. Had the characters been better developed, this would probably be the best Ocean's movie so far. A solid heist movie.

Powerful portrayal of industrial struggles of a hyperexploited but combative Mexican proletariat, albeit limited to 'trade union' consciousness contesting the terms of integration into capitalist social relations, and even within this terrain illustrating a version of Lenin's thesis that leadership can, and even must, come from outside of the class itself. As Scott Caan says, preparing to throw a molotov cocktail past a line of police into the factory grounds: "We just have to break management."

The Ocean movies aren't about plot, logic, or character development. They're spa experiences, two-hour-long immersions in a warm tub of Vegas (and Vegas-movie) nostalgia.

I'm not even sure I'd call it a story - it was more a detailed sequence of interesting events. The detail is flashy, stylish, colourful, smooth, comedic, and the interesting events are all played out by massive Holliwood stars, but really that's all there is to it. In every heist movie there needs to be a "plan" sequence - but in this one the plan sequence lasted more than the first half! I was interested and entertained, but oh so glad when they finally got to the payoff.

Ocean's 13 is the third installment in the star-studded heist series. 11 was a lot of fun and the huge cast worked convincingly well and it was something of a novelty. Whilst 12 was inevitably going to happen, but it was undoubtedly a step down and mediocre. This third film is probably better than it's predocessor, but the novelty of all these faces together has worn off. And whilst Al Pacino is a welcome addition, his inclusion does feel like a wild card. But there is still some fun to be had.

Cast is spectacular, the heist itself is fine but it kind of felt like a TV show rather than a movie. I like the little in jokes though, suggests that this is actually just Clooney et all getting together to actually do jobs and pretending its a movie

Better than the second, not quite as good as the first. Lots of moving pieces to the heist, but none of them have many stakes - they are a little too polished at this point. The climax of the film is also not as fun as the first. The cast probably shows off their personality best in this one, though.

Eleven is about larger-than-life movie stars, Twelve is about...uh yeah who knows, and Thirteen is all about the pure super-high-roller luxury Las Vegas heist. Heaps of style, and of course the larger-than-life movie stars don't hurt. Also the funniest of the trilogy - I'm a midget in 34 states and an animal in the other 34

As far as heist movies go this is certainly no innovator, but provides a decent experience speckled with some better moments. There's a good cast here, but the sometimes narrow viewpoint and sprawling plotline make for a sense of another missed opportunity for the revived Ocean series.

Back to basics. The plot isn't as twisty as the original, but we're having fun again with the crew doing what they do best. It feels like there's blood pumping in Soderbergh's direction again. And it's funny. Pacino is fully on board with goddamn Conan O'Brien hair. Matt Damon wears a Dr. Evil suit to woo Ellen Barkin. Good stuff.

Apology accepted. Ocean's 13 is a cry from Soderbergh and crew in which they plead, "Hey! We're still cool, we're still fun, we can tell a good story. Look, look over here! We've got Al Pacino!" I really warmed to Ocean's Twelve after my first viewing left me cold. Now I've found myself in the curious position of giving a higher rating to a sequel I ended up liking not quite as much. Thirteen feels like a hasty refutation of Twelve, even as it makes similar out-of-left-field decisions; the fact that the heist fund allows for not one, but both of the machines used to drill the Chunnel stretched me, but this isn't really a heist picture, so things like that go down smoother. Pacino's fun.

Honestly, one of the funniest, funnest, and most quotable movies I’ve ever seen. Soderbergh and his actor friends having fun on a large scale. I can’t not watch this if it’s on tv. RIP Bernie Mac.
