A terrible and uncharacteristic ending, which was the only moment in the film that had any thing faster-paced than a racing caterpillar. The film had some potential but botched it.

Mostly bleak, sorrowful (emotionally draining) film. The characters are well-played and mesmerizing at times. I liked the way they played out the ending-- I'm not sure how else to illustrate such a horror in society that cannot seem to be extinguished.

A movie made to raise awareness of child trafficking. As such, it is difficult to grade. The on location footage and the copious camera time spent on untranslated conversations gave the film an authentic feel. Thuy Nguyen does a fairly good job presenting a character that, while at times irritating, commands sympathy. This film is very depressing, but if you ever feel like everything is going wrong for you, watch this to gain some perspective.
