Visually wonderful, a journey through a nightmare.

Amazingly animated and a wonderful soundtrack but the plot is a little bit weird and hard to understand. But very cool though.

This wasn't the whimsical and lighthearted journey of fun that i expected.

The animation in this short movie is clearly of an extremely high calibre, but the significance of the tale it is used to tell largely eluded this viewer.

Elusive in a manner that makes you wonder if the writers even cared if there was a story or not. The ending is particularly frustrating. Either way, wonderful animation. Those eyes are mesmerizing.

A nice piece of animation, but it feels like it's weird and incomprehensible just for the sake of it.

A stunning visuals and hauntingly bizarre story. It was difficult to say where the live acting ended and perfectly handcrafted puppet animation started (the eyes!). The soundtrack fitted perfectly the odd storyline. Actually it was about the meaning of life. Do you need a lot of material belongings around you or is the life of simple butterfly enough? Are robbers interested of your stuff or more deeper, more vital parts of you? Breathless work indeed.

Remarkable advancement in animation. I read that they composited human eyes onto the puppets' faces to get that ultra-real, glisteny look. I guess they also composited human emotions. The level of detail in the characters, sets and props is exquisite. The animation is kooky and charming... it's just a pity that the plot is so lopsided and rough. This film feels unfinished - but I'd love to see one that these animators do finish. Oh, the sound design is also flawless.

Wow! I enjoyed absolutely everything about this. The character designs (those eyes!), fluid animation, oppressive atmosphere, amazing music... Stunning throughout.

Visually stunning animated nightmare. It looks and sounds so good that I don't even care about the story, or lack of it.

overrated....seen much butter short story's like this one..

Gorgeously animated, with a very promising first half, and then it kinda goes nowhere.

The animation is absolutely beautiful, but it made no sense at all and didn't seem to go anywhere.

As day descends into dark, she finds herself caught up in a desperate metaphysical adventure, what??? Barely a Horror piece, more mystery, suspense.

Slight plot but otherwise a spectacular 17 minutes. Any fan of animation and/or horror should definitely see this.
