Mischa Barton looked great!

Parts of the story were interesting, but most everything in the present was not. I was not impressed with Shirley MacLaine, however her role provided her little to impress with. The story about a young couple who fall in love & secretly marry, but he dies in the war, and she is unable to ever put it behind her. Ultimately a bitter sappy story with endless diversions, but with a message that was simply not satisfying.

The IRA angle made the story moderately interesting
