Funny and amusing. Sophia Loren is really really good...looking. The last episode is definitely the best. Why did the striptease have to stop?

An interesting trilogy that peters out after the first segment is over--luckily the first segment is about half the movie. Loren is great (and quite a looker) and Mastroianni is even better. If the second two stories were as engaging and entertaining as the first, then this would have definitely deserved that Oscar.

There is a world of difference between the personal films of De Sica and the more commercial ones he generally made for money. The reputation of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow lies solely in its nostalgic appeal. It was a star vehicle for two of the biggest actors in Europe during the 1960's, and its cheeky and matter-of-fact way of treating sex was surely edgy for its time, but there is little to recommend here unless you are a diehard fan of Mastroianni, Loren or De Sica.

1st, 3rd, 2nd. Sophia Loren won the Oscar for the film by herself but Marcello Mastroianni did a fine job in a supportive role too. The sunbaked landscape in the 1st story was a visual journey and I was just as amazed as everyone else when Loren points to her body and claims she had 7 kids. Did kids really use to run around bottomless? Fav scene: I could be as giddy as Mastroianni during Loren's striptease.

Except for "Oggi", this is an entertaining one! Mastroianni is funny all over the place.

First story was the best and similar to neorealismo. The two were wonderful together.

Despite Mastroianni and Loren charming perfomances, this is a very lazy, silly and pointless romantic comedy.

Basically, three diffirent segments presents yesterday, today and tomorrow. Sounds really good but the whole movie based on dialogues. So; I expect them to be smart or to be about morals, norms, something serious. First two segments which they're 3/4 of the movie told nothing. Again, in any case like this there should be drama or good comedy. Sorry but they were not there, third segment has most of these though. I don't know, I think it's overrated.
