The director goes for shock tactics here, strapping the bomb onto his innocent mother-of-three's neck in the first scene of the movie. The rest pans out like Speed with a budget of $50 dollars. I think Sandra Bullock would be good in a remake of this. Interesting to watch, but it feels like the screenwriter did a runner after only 20 pages, leaving everyone else involved to improvise the rest of the movie on the spot. High concept, low execution.

Truth really is stranger than fiction. Any fan of single shot films, as few as they are, should watch this definitely. Otherwise, any fan of acting, and the idea of the camera as a character in film, should also give this a watch. I was moved to tears, trying to comprehend the pain left behind, as the film came to a close. This is based on a true event that happened in Colombia.
