Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five

As with the first film, it isn't particularly funny but it is charming (on a lesser scale) and the animation style during the five stories is reminiscent of Samurai Jack, which is always a great thing.

OK when I said in my 'Kung Fu Panda' review that I wanted more screen time for the five masters, this isn't what I meant. It's not bad but it lacks the charm and vocal talents of the original. I did appreciate the traditional animation though.

More gags than in the whole cgi movie...

Really nice little companion piece to Kung Fu Panda. The five lessons it tries to teach are surprisingly well-delivered in such a short span of time. I like that throughout each of the stories, it carries the message that no one is born great at anything; it takes time and practice.
