Our intrepid adolescent heroes wake up to find their beloved television stolen, and embark on an epic journey across America to recover it, and, who knows, maybe even score. As usual with movies made out of animated TV shows, this too basically feels like a prolonged episode. So if you're okay with Beavis and Butthead (they're most amusing if you've just recently passed adolescence) then you'll be okay with this.

It's tempting to say this sucks more than anything has sucked before, but it isn't so. It's not as good as, say, BIGGER, LONGER, AND UNCUT, but there's plenty of laughs to be had as the brainless duo seek sex and a new TV, little realizing that the ATF and a pair of low-life smugglers are pursuing them. A bit thin even at 80 minutes, but it's too much of a good time (Cornholio will haunt me forever) to really complain. The animation is delightfully crude, a pretty slick trip-out sequence aside.

Our heroes are their usual stupid selves, and the story is about as brainless as your average blockbuster, and yes there are quite a few slow parts where they run out of steam, but the animation is surprisingly good, and Beavis' peyote trip is just pure awesomeness! all in all a solid turd, ass goblin!

As good a movie as you could hope for from a pair of one-joke characters; it succeeds by never compromising or altering the spirit of B&B to fit the “big screen”, instead building an array of finely tuned supporting characters for our heroes to riff on; Willis, Leachman and Stack contribute well-timed comic support, all arguably topped by an unrecognisable Hofert as the memorably flatulent desert dweller. Great art it ain’t, but much better (and more consistently funny) than expected.

Although it may have some of the worst animation I've seen in a film (but it does resemble the TV show), this is a pretty fun adaptation that stays true to the title characters as it portrays these loveable hopeless losers in a blockbuster-like setting.

I seem to be an outlier in that I enjoyed the tv show but didn't enjoy this. It's just an episode stretched too far and the limitations of the humour are reached even in the relatively short 80 minute run time. Yeah there are some funny bits and pieces here and there but they're all stitched together really poorly. Maybe I just wasn't drunk or high enough to enjoy this like so many others.

An interesting movie for me. I didn't have cable so I didn't watch the show (not sure I would have anyway), yet when this came out to my local video store I would rent it constantly because I thought my parents wouldn't approve. This was my very pussy way of being a rebel.

Holds a deeply unflattering mirror up to a bygone generation of slackers, and though times have changed since MTV was still in its prime, the critique remains valid today. The film is better than the series, but falls short in a few significant areas, particularly the trite story (which I suppose is to be expected from a comedy) and the length (it barely qualifies as a feature film at only seventy minutes, excluding the credits).

Stretching a tv show (specifically comedy) into a movie as almost always been a bad idea as it must always involve a road trip. Surprisingly, Butt and Beav did the best job since Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I hate that Red Hot Chilli Peppers' cover of Love Rollercoaster. Beavis and Butthead would never listen to that shit.
