Pervirella

Really campy micro budget British retread of Barbarella with a more sexed up story and a ton of lowbrow comedy. There's some hot naked girls, but it's relentlessly silly, kinda like a mix of Monty Python, Flash Gordon and Pee Wee's Playhouse with tits. Most of the effects are intentionally cheap looking and the audio is terrible, big chunks of the dialog are unintelligible. Also features one of the lamest robots vs ninjas battles you're ever likely to see.

The fact that this 'movie' is so ridiculously cheap is both a strong point and weakness. When you see toy planes held up by strings that are visible on purpose, it's hard not to giggle. Too bad Pervirella is also incredibly childish, silly, dumb and nonsensical, but it still had a sort of stupid charm that tickled my inner 12-year old. Watching this sober is not really recommended.
