Dinoshark

An armor plated prehistoric shark is released from it's icy tomb and terrorizes a coastal community, until our plucky hero throws a grenade at it in one of the worst sequences of CGI you're ever likely to see. The acting is shit (but not hammy enough to be funny), the shark attacks are very brief and look really lame, and I'm pretty sure the big explosion at the end doesn't even kill the shark.

A dinoshark escapes from a PSone game and proceeds to eat some people. Then it gets killed. Terrible.

Oh, how I love you Sci-Fi channel for giving me my shitty movie fix on all my exclusively hungover Saturdays.

Technically some three times better than Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus but lacked epic scenes like an oil platform being eaten by the octopus...

CGI and digital cameras may have helped more people to create films, but its also lowered the quality bar horribly in some areas, especially when it comes to z-grade genre films. There are plenty of bad older works with practical effects, but it's painful to sit through most films made after 2000, which look amateurishly cheap, almost killing off the genre for me personally were it not for the fact great (or fun) ones are still being made. This Jaws ripoff perfectly capsulates this issue.

I have so much to say about this delightful movie. First I want to discuss the amazing writing. I've got some quotes which were used in a casual situation: "Oh I teach enviromental science with a focus on aquatic eco-systems", "A shark does not eat a lifeguard boat, a shark does not have horns!". The narrating is awful. Also, Trace, can grow a moustachybeard in a few minutes. A helicopter gets grabbed by the monster, blood splatter on camera + eaten while parasailing. Mega Piranha is better

syfy movie that is so bad it is funny.

A pretty solid B Movie with a not undetectable undercurrent of paedophilia thrown in for good measure. I don't mean that as a metaphor or some sort of clever analogy, I mean actual paedophilia by one of the characters. It's not overt, but it's there.

Boring but funny.

More quality copy and paste CGI followed by a script written by school children delivered by morons. Can't wait to watch it again.
