Watched it couple days ago. Chuckled a few times, but the only bit I remember now is the one about teabaggers. Not particularly funny or rememberable.

I laughed, but I have to admit I didn't love it and have no immediate plans to listen again, which bums me out since I loved, loved, LOVED David Cross's 2004 George W. Bush-scalding "It's Not Funny." I seriously must have listened to that album twenty times through in college. But David Cross's comedy is always best when he's talking politics, which unfortunately like 10% of this special is dedicated to. The nine minutes he does on Teabaggers, great, the half hour he does on drugs... eh.

On a lot of his previous shows, Cross seems unprepared, which can result in some great off-the-cuff riffs, but also an uncomfortable amount of stammering and gags that go nowhere. Here his set is much tighter, and the results are for the most part very funny. You can expect the usual discussion of politics and religion, but he doesn't overdo it. The opening bits are weak, but the excised portions in the bonus features are well worth checking out.

Love Cross as an actor, but he got way too preachy and political for my taste. That's just cheap comedy.

His sense of humor is definitely not for everyone and this is not his strongest entry, but still made me laugh.

Oscillates between being tedious and completely hilarious. Cross has done better, but it's still worth a watch for devotees.

Good.. but pretty bad by David Cross standards.

First David Cross stand up I've seen. Definitely wasn't as harsh (funny) as I've heard clips of him. Hope he's not getting soft.

His political and religious commentary is still overwrought, but the rest grooves pretty well, and he's finally getting his "y'know"s under control. He even manages to make jokes about vanity plates funny. I don't like him nearly as much with a mike as with a script, but there are worse comedians out there I still profess to enjoy.

Probably too generous score, felt a little stale and uninspired.

He's at his best when he stays away from politics and religion. When he broaches those unfortunate topics, his routine completely derails.

Cross lacks a bit of charisma in his stand-up, but he is undeniably hilarious. I laughed all the way through this.

I am pretty sure he's never actually read the Bible, but I still lol'd.
