Yuriko's Aroma

A very interesting piece of drama from Japan whose premise intrigues but goes on to something rewarding, a fresh take on erotic desire which - filmed in a digital camera hue only Japanese films seems to have, and is desperately needed for some Western made films - isn't perfect but does well. With the exception of a pointless scene of softcore 'lesbian' titillation out of place in the plot, it shows the building blocks for a director who could go on to make some very good work in their career.
