Cop Dog

In the seemingly never endless world of family/kids movies of "{insert noun here}+dog", this particular super cheap kids movie garbage, may have one of the most misleading titles ever. As instead our titular "Cop Dog" quickly becomes a "Ghost Dog", a canine poltergeist, who has a limited time to avenge his cop partner's murder before being trapped in doggy limbo, or something. An oddly depressing film about a child dealing with the loss of his father, terribly repackaged as a fun kids/dog movie.

A mostly inoffensive film but why does every family film since Home Alone have to have bad guys who are incompetent prat-falling idiots? Also the chewing gum scene is unnecessarily disgusting.
