One might hear of the toxicology report and dismiss this right away, but there is far more going on here that cannot be chalked up to that alone. As far as the film, there's a certain TV-crime-show element that makes this intriguing, but what really elevated it for me was the reaction of the family. There's a struggle between reality and their version of reality that cannot seem to be reconciled no matter how much people try to help.

A harrowing story of suburban agony, mixing themes of grief and loss with addiction and impulse. Uncomfortable to watch if you've ever lost someone to drunk driving, but everything about the grim story is worth watching.

Eerier than any scripted suspense/horror movie.

Though disturbing and somber material, a compelling documentary.

Not bad. The pacing is rather too leisurely to hold ones attention much of the time, and it would have benefited from someone--anyone--involved having a bit of artistic vision. There must be a full half-hour's worth of rolling footage of strip malls in suburban Westchester (gosh, do you think it's meant to suggest that life in suburbia can be an empty existence???).

Kind of exploitative, compelling but not fully warranting the ethical issues it steps up to the line of

A solid documentary which really shows how badly in denial the family is about what really happened. They understandably cannot accept the reality that Diana was responsible for the deaths of multiple people due to the consumption of drugs and alcohol to self medicate a painful tooth injury. It drags a bit at times but the story is intriguing and watching the family struggle to deal with reality really makes this documentary better than it would've with a straight retelling
