I always enjoy a country other than the US's take on a post-apocalyptic world. Too bad Hell was utterly suspense-free, mind-numbingly uneventful, and filled with moronic, unlikable main characters who had me rooting for the crazies. Also, the repeated utilization of the sun's glare to cover up low production values grew quite irritating after about the 5th time. Hopefully for all of us, Herr Fehlbaum will go back to making gummi bears rather than popping open that fold-up director's chair again.

It's a Texas Chainsaw Massacre clone set in a post-apocalyptic setting. Nothing new, but it's a well directed and entertaining piece of cinema.

Very, very lame.

Decent movie by first time director TIm Fehlbaum. There is definitely nothing new to it plotwise. However, it manages to grip the audience two or three times and that is an accomplishment that unfortunately many movies by other, more experierenced directors do not meet.

eng; [hell]; auf der erde verbrennt alles vor der sonne, die rivalisierenden überlebenden suchen verzweifelt nach wasser und essen - bis sie zu einem bauernhof kommen bei dem es immer noch fleisch zu essen gibt.;

Hell does a good job of showing just how hot it is outside, but everything else about the movie is lacking. It successfully pays homage to its inspirations but forgets to add anything of its own.

It's a nicely put together budget thriller.

The film starts off interesting but lets you down in the end. The setting is promising and different but the plot delivers nothing new or thought-provoking.

Left the theatre with a dry mouth. Epic, and truly frightning.

Yet another post collapse movie where the primary method of advancing the plot is unbelievably stupid character decisions.

Fairly good apocalyptic film. Really enjoyed a lot of the visuals and the feel is good. Unfortunately it is unnecessarily slow at times which allows attention to wander from the screen which is important in this kind of movie.
