Pretty terrible minus NPH and the waffle bot. NPH really saves it though in his limited screen time, he's just great. The entire plot is just so desperate and convoluted that it actually is too ridiculous, even for a movie as stupid as this is. Watching this in non-3D is pretty bad as well, shit flies at the screen constantly (which I typically find funny cause it's so bad) and it just becomes absurd and tough to watch. Disappointing cause I really didn't mind this series.

Even pot-heads & teen boys should find this disappointing. Even if the first film failed 2 make u laugh at least it offered a fresh take on the teen comedy by unabashedly, but matter-of-factly, putting the minorities who r still relegated to playing the nerds or dorks front & center as protagonists of their own film. All u have now is a series of lazy button-pushing "taboo-breaking" prompts 2 laugh which would b fine if at least 30 % of it were actually funny.

NPH was great. Too few weed, some awesome trips and the little girl was a bit too much. I loved the obvious 3D that was meant to be obvious and bad.

I think this is the first in the series that I don't recommend. I really really like the first one, because it was clever and hilarious... this... not so much. Outside of a couple laughs, this really has nothing going for it. It tries way too hard and it fails 90% of the time. If it wasn't for the fact I like the characters and the claymation it'd be lot lower.

These movies keep getting better and better. I would say that my only complaint about this was that they should have had Neil Patrick Harris in more of the film. His cameo was really fun but too short. I thought the 3D stuff was really funny because they were making fun of the 3D craze (which I hate all the 3D stuff). I could see this movie being one of my Christmas favorites right up there with Elf and Christmas Vacation. I had a lot of laughs, they pushed the envelope on dirty humor though.

This movie is better than the second film but not as funny as the first in the series . There are some funny moments in scenes but also a lot of cliches in the script. The Neil Patrick Harris cameo seems more forced this time out. I would definitely recommend the first film in the series over this one.

A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS gets off to a slowish start, but even during the early stages, there are laughs to be found; from the claymation sequence on, it really kicks into high gear, with some bizarre use of 3D, the expected appearance of Neil Patrick Harris (always a blast), sacrilege, and the unimpeachably awesome WaffleBot. Danny Trejo is great fun as Harold's hard-bitten father-in-law, while Kal Penn and John Cho are affable as ever as our titular heroes. Lightweight, but good fun.

At least with a comedy film like this one, the 3D isn't pretending to be anything but the gimmick it is. This one was pretty much the same as the previous films. Stoner comedy is rarely actually funny. I didn't really laugh very much at all, but I was entertained throughout. As with the previous films, the standout part was the amazing Neil Patrick Harris. His sleazy, womanising version of himself is hilarious. It's a mindless comedy and it doesn't try to be anything more.

It's another Harold and Kumar flick, and if you aren't tired of them after the second, you'll still probably have a decent time with this one. It's lacking a certain sharpness to its tongue, though, and despite the self-parody turn, it gets stale very quick. I didn't have an awful time with it, but it's the worst in the series so far and an indication that it might be time to put these characters to rest.

The most sweet natured and genuinely likable chapter of the H&K story to date finds Cho and Penn in typically fine form, and a screenplay that improves vastly on Part 2 by being more disciplined and down-the-line, even managing to build some farcical momentum at times. Highlighted by a hilariously sinister Harris, who finally gets something of substance to do, though casting of Koteas as a brutal gangster keeps you waiting for a payoff that never quite arrives.

Far better than Guantanamo Bay, this movie is actually really funny. Danny Trejo is great, NPH isn't overused unlike the last film, and the 3D knows how stupid it is which is pretty much why it's the best use of 3D I've seen. The pot smoke in 3D is weirdly enough the best technological marvel of the medium because it actually looked really bloody real. Score is not a grade.

I think the whole christmas theme was simply a horrible idea, but Harold and Kumar, as always end up in some crazy situations. NPH should be the star of one of these movies with Harold and Kumar supporting. It's hard to say this, but I think this one has the least outrageous plot of the three.

Pretty funny for the most part, even though they continue on with scenes a little too long at times. These guys get what rude and crude humour is all about. Some interesting scenes done with claymation which is new for the team.

This is the best Harold & Kumar movie. Does that say something about the state of the franchise? The same tired tropes are at work, but they've worked in as much maturation as they possibly could. It's respectable and there are a lot of laughs in this brand new (admittedly contrived) adventure. Fans of the first two will undoubtedly enjoy.

The series is beginning to get slightly stale but still carries reasonably well retaining most of its appeal and remaining somewhat enjoyable, although far from the humourous consistency or jubilantly moronic heights of the original. A couple of moments hold up well, with NPH also providing a welcome reappearance. The plot is nearly non-existent. 3D effects are often deliberately shoehorned into the experience, exuberantly parodying the gimmicks of other jarring "3D scenes" rather successfully.

There were some laughs and it was self aware enough to get away with how stupid a lot of it was. For fans of the franchise, it's worth seeing. I also saw it in 3D, which I imagine is pretty important for the viewing experience, as a good 20% of the jokes are making fun of how ridiculous the 3D is

Non-serious movie about how to gain respect of your father-in-law by restoring your friendship with the former best friend. There are several repeating yet continually funny motives, like a cocaine high child and its actions (walking on the ceiling - priceless). I haven't seen other parts with Harold and Kumar, so I cannot compare. As a standby, it's pretty funny, classifying somewhere between stupid comedies and regular comedies.John Cho is effin hot here --> the scene with frozen d*ck is yummy.

Even though the first two don't set a very high standard, this one doesn't even do a very good job of living up to it. I think it was mostly the supporting cast that makes the movie fall apart though, along with some weird fantasy elements that didn't really work.

What this lacks is the creative social commentary of the first but double downed on the stoner/sex jokes. At some point this genre of film always seems like it's trying way too hard but the characters are still appealing. It's not like they have to try for the demographic they're going for and we're easily transported into their wacky universe where anything goes. Any film that breaks the 4th wall as frequently as this film does, contains liberal use of claymation, and has NPH can't be bad.

Even though I didn't laugh until the last 15 minutes, even though I despise stoner comedies, even though this film is essentially the same as the rest, this wasn't as terrible as I expected. It kept my attention all the way through with silly gimmicks, an obvious chemistry between the leads, and a horny, drug-addicted Neil Patrick Harris.
