I never understood why bongs are illegal and I still don't even after watching this "documentary". There's no activism tied to this and no real useful information to be found here. It's just a bunch of stoners being stoned and talking to other stoners about bongs. I got nothing out of this anymore than heading to my local head shop and looking around. Although I must say there were some pretty impressive bongs, they never even really talk about bong components, earwax or smoking tactics.

Some of the pipes looked REALLY cool, and watching them being made was interesting. Everything else was just a bunch of stoners waxing poetic about the good old days, being butthurt about how they are being persecuted for their art (even though they know it's illegal and all they'd have to do is leave off the bowl to be 100% respectable), and generally assigning cosmic significance to building cool-looking bongs. Ultimately, if you like MJ docs you'll probably like this, but it's not for me.
