O Que Se Move

As the stories of kids arriving and leaving are unfolded with strict, still shots, Gotardo develops an emotionally restrained narrative about the power and poetry of movement. It's clear that the plot is more simple that it seems -- about moving on, that's why music comes in the end of each story, providing beautiful moments of catharsis. But, until we reach those climaxes, the stories look as pale and trivial as in any moderate contemporary art film concerned with the lives of common people.
