Probably the worst of the DCAU yet. This is actually REALLY bad voice acting. As much as I like Perlman as Deathstroke it was far different from his Titans run. This and the characters felt really disjointed and the story was slow and very indecisive. This is just sadly one of the worst and not even comparable To Justice League Unlimited or The Flashpoint Paradox.

I didn't like it. I'm a fan of Batz but the way Damien was handled and the clunky way the story moved forward makes me think I'd not recommend it.

As a long-time comic fan, I didn't care for Deathstroke's portrayal here as a jealous also-ran who's pining for Ra's Al Ghul's imprimatur: Deathstroke is none of those things. However, having never read the original story, I found this a worthy continuation of the Ra's Al Ghul storyline w/ bratty Damian taking things in a wholly unexpected direction. The animation & action scenes also look great & although fans love Kevin Conroy as Bats, I really liked the husky gravel of Jason O'Mara.

I re-watched this and I like it a lot more than I did originally. The voice acting can still be quite wonky, with some bad dialogue, but I was more invested this time around.

First off I like to say that I liked how adult and brutal the story was. now for the down side and there are many. I didn't like the voice acting (no one has any inflection or emotion), really didn't like the character designs and the animation was way too static. Did I mention that all attempts at humor failed miserably. I really, really hated the Damian character and the actor voicing him too.

This is one of the worst DC Animated DVd movies. The story isn't adapted well, it adds Deathstroke but turns him into basically a completely unrecognizable character, and the voice acting is mostly bad. Batman's voice actor almost never lets any emotion into his voice, even when he should. They also have Robin be almost unbeatable by people that should easily kick his butt. It surpassed normal comic stuff at times. Overall, this is just an annoying, poorly adapted movie. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's tough to write a story centered on a "child prodigy" who's impetuous, murderous and devoid of kindness, and that robs his adventures of fun. This Robin also lacks the patience and detective skills of his father, and doesn't spend much time trying to improve them. There's an abrupt attempt at rectifying all this at the last minute, but it mostly rings hollow. However it does not flinch in portraying the brutal reality that created him, and that earns quite a bit of respect.

I am a newcomer to the Batman animation franchise and I have to say that I love some of them and this one is one of best I have seen. I love how this one adds some background to Bruce and at the same time introduce various characters.

Anime or animation by mediocre I found just for the sake of the story, and nightwing, deathstroke, characters such as robin, which can be watched to see.

These direct-to-video things seem to fall into one of two categories: solid entertainment or crap. Guess which one this is.

It's hard to look past the fact that Talia raped Batman to have his son.

Meh... It's neither really good, nor really bad. It starts and after some time it ends without much happening in between. Then again it doesn't leave you with that feeling that you wasted your time. I guess, Batman's just too tough to be good, Damian's too much of a know-it-all rascal and Nightwing's too much of a sidekick as that my fangirl heart could take it... Maybe I would've enjoyed this movie much more 15 years ago...

A film that is the perfect length. It had just the right amount of dialogue mixed with the perfect blend of action that did not hold back on the graphics. It built strong opposing forces in Bruce and Damian and the character progression actually did its job and progressed the plot to the thrilling climax. The voice talent all lended their part with mere ease and that is not at all demeaning to the work that goes into voice acting. In summation this film is about as good it could be.

One of the more underwhelming stories in the Batman universe. Batman has a son with Talia al ghul and the writing seems to suggest that Batman isn't too interested one way or the other. The villain is instantly forgettable, some nice action, okay animation, not worth watching considering the potential here that came to nothing
