The Darjeeling Limited
Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins. (Fox Searchlight)

The Ear
A gaunt tale weaves marital discord & surveillance paranoia. Government functionary spends sleepless night wondering if he'll be arrested before dawn, with disfunctional marriage adding to tension as he & his wife argue & vacillate, it's no wonder that The Ear waited for Czech premiere till 1989; wonder is that it was made at all. It's said director's offsider, Jan Procházka, had political connections that helped, plus his inside knowledge making suggestions adding to the plot.

Wedlock House: An Intercourse
We see a film negative of a nude couple embracing in bed. Then, back in regular black and white images, we see them alone and together, clothed, at home. It's night, she sees his reflection in the window, she closes the drapes. After sex, again in a black and white negative, they sit, smoke, have coffee. They kiss, she smiles. They light candles.
