It's a dumbass idea. Why not <strong>sell the movies</strong> for $3 at <strong>lower quality</strong> than DVD or HDVD? You get to keep the movie (which you have paid for already anyway), yes you might copy it to your friends, but <strong>pirated films are lower quality</strong> anyway, unless you download a DVD rip. The main problems the movie and music industry faces is their <strong>products are too expensive</strong> and they <strong>offer no incentive to buy the DVD or CD</strong>.
