Germany’s Tom Tykwer is one of a very few directors whose every project excites us. An high-octane Interpol action flick staring Clive Owen & Naomi Watts sounds alright, but the knowledge that it’s from the creator of Run Lola Run and (the unaccountably overlooked) Perfume is a guarantee that it’s going to be intelligent and unique.

A district attorney (Watts) and Interpol agent (Owen) join forces to expose a powerful, corrupt bank, and end up on a chase that leads them from Berlin to Istanbul to New York. The film sounds awesome, and the trailer (via Twitchfilm) is great too:
