Alright, it’s got one of those “geez, what a concept” plots concerning an imminent wedding and the wacky hijinks that lead up to it. But unlike say, Made of Honor, I Love You, Man actually looks like it might be hilarious. After watching the trailer, we could count at least 5 things this movie has going for it.
1) Paul Rudd – Who we’d love in anything. He’s just lovable.
2) Jason Segel – Who is hilarious before he even opens his mouth, and won our eternal appreciation by playing Nick, our favorite character in Freaks & Geeks.
3) Rashida Jones – Who actually is hotter than Pam. Not that we don’t love Pam. But for sheer hotness, Kevin was right.
4) JK Simmons – Another actor who can be funny without saying anything. Man, this film might not even need dialogue, with Simmons & Segel’s wordless hilarity, and Jones & Rudd’s hotness.
5) At least three uproarious moments … I laughed more at this trailer than during the entirety of Made of Honor.

We can’t wait for this one! Although, the first time I ever heard the term “Man Date” out of one of my (straight) friend’s mouths, I almost shat myself. The fact that hanging out with your buddy means you’re involved in a “Bromance” and you go on “Man Dates”… I don’t know, it’s just wrong.
Before I watched the trailer I couldn’t help feel doubtful, but this might possibly be alright. Then again they could be pulling the trick of putting all the funny moments of the film into the trailer. Just have to wait and see.
Didn’t watch the trailer due to certain restrictions on this PC but at the sole mention of Jason Segel I feel myself getting drawn in.. Will definitely be checking this out. Paul Rudd is pretty cool as well. Jason Segel’s genius is clearly evidenced by the Dracula puppets musical in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If Segel doesn’t go on to make a feature musical at some point I’d consider it a crime.
