An interesting, though not highly praised, set of new releases hit shelves this week. The most highly regarded by Criticker users is Appaloosa, which is a must for any Ed Harris fan — he directed, wrote and stars in it. Appaloosa won the Boston Film Festival earlier this year, and also features Viggo Mortensen. Or for spookier fare, check out Jack Bauer vs. the forces of evil in Mirrors … a film that received some very mixed reviews at Criticker.
