Whenever Quentin Tarantino has a new project coming out, film fans work themselves into a tizzy, praising and/or bashing it well in advance of its release date.

At least that’s what we’re seeing with Inglourious Basterds — Tarantino’s new and confusingly misspelled war project with Brad Pitt. Criticker’s forum community seems split on whether it’s going to suck or rule, though modest optimism seems to be the prevailing mood.
User brandt64 dug up the following French trailer, which (in our opinion) seems promising.
Inglourious Basterds opens on August 21st… are you excited? Why not go join the discussion in the forum?

I can’t wait to see this film. It seems like it will be reminiscent of earlier Tarantino films like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. If this movie is any bit as entertaining as the trailer was, we’re in for a fantastic ride. I’m wondering if there was actually a military unit like this in World War 2?
just saw new film…at 2 hours and some 33 minutes it left me wanting more..fantastic
