Is it really considered a neglected gem if it’s only been out for a year or so overseas, and being released in a month in USA? Glad to see Evangelion getting some well-deserved recognition in a place where the main topic isn’t anime, as the series is considered a classic to many.

Great movie. 2.0 was even better; at this rate maybe 3.0 and FINAL will surpass the phenomenal “End of Evangelion.”
