This is something which has been a long time coming… an alphabetized list of all the directors, writers and actors in our database.
You can find the list under the Explore tab. Currently, you can filter on the list on number of credits, and on the number of films you’ve seen.
What do you think? It’s pretty basic for now, but we were really excited to get it out there. By the way, did you know that there’s one person in our database with over 500 acting credits? Guess who!
Nice! Maybe also let it be sorted by average tier and by # of movies (both in total and those you’ve seen)?
Weird… when I filtered by Actors with more than 10 films I’ve seen, 34 actors were shown, only two of which were female… I guess I watch too many guy films?
I’ve noted a mistake that happens when using the option that restricts the directors to only those you’ve seen a certain number of films by. If you try to go to the next page, that option is nulled.
500 acting credits? Why, that’s Mel Blanc, of course!
Also, fantastic feature, guys. It looks really slick, and with a few more small features, it will be one of the best things on the site.
