All this week’s new DVD releases hover between tiers 4 and 6, which is pretty much synonymous with that phrase we all throw around: “Meh, looks alright, but I’ll wait for the DVD”. Well, the DVDs are here so get watching! Surprisingly, given the mediocre reviews it got, Iron Man 2 is the week’s strongest new arrival.

Iron Man 2 – Average Tier 5.67
Wealthy inventor and former weapons maker Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) continues to fight crime as his alter ego, Iron Man, taking on villains intent on destroying humanity in Jon Favreau’s action-packed superhero sequel based on Marvel comic book characters. Get Him to the Greek – Average Tier 5.38
Ambitious young record company intern Aaron Greenberg (Jonah Hill) will let nothing get in the way of his planned rise to the top in the music business — not even the unruly rock star (Russell Brand) he must escort to Los Angeles for the start of his world tour.
