Summary: A scientist from the failed Philadelphia Experiment leads a team of Navy SEALs back in time to the Cretaceous Period to rescue the first team he sent back during the 1940s. Things go wildly awry though, when on his return he accidentally brings a giant, man-eating dinosaur back through the portal and into modern-day, downtown Los Angeles. (imdb)
Simply stunning. A brachiosaurus that sounds like a vaccuum. Re-used terrible cgi over and over. A not-t-rex eating a helicopter out of the sky. Terrible, terrible science. Amazingly terrible "elite military rescue squad." Another quality asylum production if I ever saw one.
I picked this up hoping for a movie that's so bad it's funny. But for most the movie it is just bad. It had a couple moments until it got to the last 15 mins when things just got out of control with time travel. At that point i was cracking up at how disorganized it was.
I give it some very few points for having a semi-interesting, if unoriginal, plot involving time travel. Other than that it's completely terrible. Bad acting, pathetic special effects, etc.
