Ribisi miscast (he plays it like Crispin Glover up there). And the VOs are (as usual) intrusive; also the whole Donny Brasco-ish FBI thing seems tacked on, and could (I suspect) have been discarded. But a beautiful-looking film (blue filters and all). And several of the performances are excellent--especially Perabo, Marsden and that glimpse of Hopper.
