Summary: 11:14 tells the seemingly random yet vitally connected story of a set of incidents that all converge one evening at 11:14pm. It's a sort of musical chairs with a corpse, with the structurally intriguing storytelling style of "Memento" and "Run Lola Run." (Media 8 Entertainment)
Great to see all of the different prospective and view it from a information gathering and story comparison standpoint, and shows why it is bad to lie (to cops), because you will get caught.
Everyone in this film is a douchebag. That's basically the film, how each douchebag is connected to the other douchebag, and how one douchebag's actions affects another douchebag's life.
at first look just another coincidental connectedness movie, but along the way gets hijacked into a black comedy-esque movie, with humorous situations that i couldnt seem to laugh at. it's definately a good watch, but only for those of us who like the extreme dark end of the comedy spectrum, and who dont need laugh out loud moments.
A fast-paced cleverly written thriller but does come off as a little pretentious at times, and I think it really needed to go out with more of a bang, but still really enjoyable.
Although often predictable, the film offered a unique, much darker & humorous plot line style than that of Crash or Memento. A very enjoyable film to sit and watch without having to think too much.
Happenings from the same 10-20 minute block of time told from 6 points of view, not told backwards, hence absolutely nothing like Memento. It doesn't do anything new, but instead takes a proven formula and peppers it with a bit of dark comedy to give it flavor. Enjoyable, but only if you like flawed characters, as they are all comparable to those coats with missing buttons sold at the Gap Factory Outlet Store.
Nicely wrapped up in the end, and a reasonably smart idea. Can't say it was particularly exciting or I liked any of the characters though. And a lot of it predicates on people doing stupid stuff.
