More entertaining than the couple of seasons preceding it. On he other hand that's not much of an accomplishment. However, it gave more background and flesh (figuratively) to season 7.

Good enough for a TV-film, and good enough as an introduction to the new season. Still looking forward to the real 24-film coming to theaters.

An extended opening episode to season 7, nothing more. Competent but unexciting, it hardly represents the best 24 has to offer. You couldn't and wouldn't watch it as a standalone film.

The action is merely okay by 24 standards, but the film has some very effective development for Jack Bauer. His transition from the disillusioned character at the end of Season 6 to the reluctant hero of Season 7 begins here.

RAMBODEMPTION

Nothing special, but entertaining introduction to hopefully amazing season 7. Jack is back!

Pretty good TV, and a breath of fresh air after season six. Despite how ridiculous the show can be, I missed it last year when the season was scrapped due to the writers' strike. Say what you will about the show, but it's always entertaining. The cast for this (which to an extent will be the cast for S7) is pretty loaded, and Carlyle especially is a nice addition. The action is pretty awesome, too. For TV anyway. Make no mistake, this is no movie, just a long episode to lead in the new season.

If you aren't familiar with the series this will make absolutely no sense. After season 6 of 24 (the worst season ever), I wasn't expecting anything from 24 ever again. I hate the new president (I miss you David Palmer) and there was way too much talking and not much payoff. The action was pretty badass and Robert Carlyle was a nice addition to the cast. Jack Bauer has just become too complicated a character for his own good.

24 has seen better times

24 is the best action/drama on TV, this is no different. It ties up all the loose ends from 24: Season 6 and starts the greatness of Season 7. Lots of action, and drama make 24: Redemption absolutely great.

All superbly filmed, but it's a pity that you have so many questions in the end if you haven't seen the series yet.. I got the feeling that it was just an extra long episode and not a movie..

Fairly good. Rest of the season is on another level though. Hostages in the White House.... what will they think of next lol.

2 torture scenes, hell of a lot of 24 clichés and one-man army Jack Bauer kicking some ass, looking forward to season 7!

Brings up some meaningful topics but uses them as nothing more than a backdrop for Jack Bauer to shoot people. Serves as a prologue to the seventh season. No reason to watch this unless you're watching the show.

I liked it a lot. I've been following this show for almost half my life. Not as good as some of the other seasons, but still better than I expected it to be.

"24: Redemption" is a TV-movie specifically for fans of the television show. You get no back story and no explanation for anything. Jack never really gets into too many details of who he is or what CTU does. Though, for fans, "24: Redemption" delivers. It's a different experience that the Fox TV Series, set mostly in Africa, but feels familiar enough to be an episode. The real-time element continues to push the pace throughout the two hours, and is an example of how 24 could become a feature.

not bad, but quite different from the tv series. it's structured as a full fledged movie, and the plot shows its merit. kinda feels like a rip-off of "blood diamond" though.
