Oh, what a shame. The funniest thing about this movie is when I went to go see this movie, an old man entered the theater right in front of me and farted right as he went through the door leaving me no choice but to walk through it. That same old man walked out after 10 minutes. No actor is likable in this film, the directing is sloppy & the plot is stupid as hell. So awful.

This movie was played on a Friday night at 2 a.m. and it was quite enjoyable for a film that came out of sheer boredom. Jessie Eisenberg pulls of nervous and frantic with comedic excellence. There was a time when Michael Cera probably would have been everyone's choice for this role, but Eisenberg has proven to be the better actor. Of course Aziz Ansari was funny in the best friend and role. 30 Minutes or Less is for sure a good 2 a.m., but I have yet to see if it could be a 7 p.m. movie.

The movie could have been great considering it had some good talent. The movie has a poor story line. Watch it if you have nothing better.

4+ worth experiencing

It had its moments but overall a bit of a letdown. The over-the-top characters in Zombieland worked because the suspension of disbelief was built in with the premise. Bank robberies aren't as outlandish as zombies, oddly. So instead of funny people in a funny situation saying funny things we had realistic people in a semi-realistic situation saying funny things. That is only 1/3 of the funny. My math is solid here, I promise. That said, everyone involved is great. Pena and Ansari especially.

Jesse Eisenberg presents incredibly flat and awkward acting. Even on his worst day though he outshines the rest of the dubious cast. There's a great idea here, it just didn't work out. Shame.

I love Aziz Ansari and thankfully he was in this one to save it. I was expecting a lot more from Danny McBride though.

This is a funny movie with a interesting cast. Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari work well together. The script has plenty of entertaining moments. I recommend this funny movie.

I was looking forward to this coming out however when it did I read a few less-than-favourable reviews and I was a bit put-off so I didn't go out of my way to see it. This was probably a good thing as it lowered my very high expectations. I enjoyed it, particularly that it didn't have too many characters to focus on. The characters that are there have a good chemistry, even if they come off as a bit shallow. Danny McBride plays his usual self, so it's a good thing I find him hilarious.

Aziz Ansari and Jesse Eisenberg work incredibly well in this picture, which is strange because they essentially play the same characters that they always play. None of it makes any real sense and that's fine because it works best as a mildly absurdist string of non-sequitur sequences. It's disposable comedy at it's finest!

With this cast and this director, it should be great. But, I don't know what the hell happened with these guys, nothing here works really well -- the shitty situations are funny, but all the dialogues seem a little bit exaggerated, they are just not natural as they should be. There are some good lines, and that's it.

There's an unfortunate dichotomy here: the endearing duo of Eisenberg and Ansari, and then the dumb dick jokes between McBride and Swardson. The premise is a good one, and it's entertaining to watch it play out, but I don't ever need to see it again.

i watched the whole thing and it was all right, but there's no wonder why it didn't make any waves. it's fairly unoriginal and only vaguely funny.

boring and forgettable

This was an awesome film, it was funny, a bit suspenseful, and happy. Watch it!

Its amusing and funny, but not much else. Danny Mcbride plays his type cast well and nothing good can be said of Swordsons performance.

Disappointing. (Zombieland was so fresh and fleet-footed.)

It feels like it should be better than it is, but it's still an entertaining enough popcorn flick, mostly down to Eisenberg's snark than any particularly decent plot elements or support from the other members of the cast.

Tone deaf. That's all I can think to say, really. The most clueless, most vigorously unfunny comedy of 2011. There is literally no reason--that I can fathom, anyway--why anybody would ever want or need to see this, unless you have a really strong desire to watch Aziz Ansari lay claim to the title of the most annoying person on Earth.

Fun movie for nursing a hangover, but little more than that.

I thought it was an ok movie and Jesse Eisenberg isn't funny at all, the bank robbery part was pretty good, Aziz Ansari was the only funny person in this movie.

There are a few laughs, but overall I didn't find this that funny.

The world needs more movies with exploding pizza delivery men!

Quirky but an enjoyable comedy.

While the movie's not as laugh-out-loud funny as one would like, it's still highly amusing and quite enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of laughs to be had, and I admire the movie for being as twistedly dark as it is, but it all feels so...familiar. Every actor here is a playing a variation of archetypes they've played a thousand times before, and McBride especially could do for a change-up. The abrupt ending is less than satisfying. As a drug-dealing hitman, Peña steals the show.

Full of plotholes and unlikable characters, Ansari and Eisenberg do their best to rescue the film but have trouble overcoming the script.

Though funny in places, 30 Minutes or Less takes the all so comfortable so-obvious-its-funny material and just throws it at a wall and see what sticks. The plot is thin, the characters are thinner and the movie is over faster than it takes Jesse Ceraberg to deliver a pizza.

This film doesn't plumb the depths of the human soul, at best it is a trite ode to avarice, but I laughed all the same and regardless of its inane and ridiculous plot. The dialgoue isn't particularly witty, but it is delivered with aplomb, and Eisenberg is a great straight man for Ansari's hysterics. The situation itself is better still, far funnier than I would have imagined, I only wish they had made better use of it, particularly McBride's clueless yet oddly effective would be murderer.

There's just something missing in '30 Minutes or Less' that I can't put my finger on. Everyone here has comedic talent and plays right into the type that you'd expect them to; yet something just doesn't feel complete. Maybe it's that lack of freshness that makes '30 Minutes or Less' feel like a let down. The one thing that I can credit the movie for is moving a pretty fast clip. It doesn't give you much time to get bored with the jokes that fall flat as you're on to the next sequence in no time.
