Summary: Some sources list John Morrissey as director of 9 1/2 Ninjas, while others credit Aaron Worth. There's no confusion, however, as to whom the "one-half" is. That honor goes to leading lady Andee Gray, who joins an all-male Ninja training group. Gray gets a big kick out of her lessons (no pun intended), until she realizes that she's been followed. Starts off as a cheap imitation of Mel Brooks-style films/The Naked Gun; most jokes bomb horribly, and the editing is among the worst I've ever seen, but there are several laughs. However, 40 minutes in, all humor vanishes, and it's a mish mash of irritating, out-of-place romance and some of the lamest, dumbest gasps at "comedy" I've EVER seen on film. The last 10 minutes rank among the strangest, most boring things I have ever seen on film. Sheer torture to watch by the end.
