Mostly tongue in cheek humor, but despite not being particularly funny there's a sense of warmth and sentimentality that makes this decently enjoyable even if perhaps a bit saccharine.

Way funnier than the Halloween special, since it was based on a set of comic strips, and thus contains actual jokes. Some of them even made me laugh as a teenager. Imagine that! Gets a bit too hokey and saccharine-sweet at the end, but still a pretty enjoyable short, especially for Garfield fans.
