Summary: A sentimental, patriotic (if not propagandistic) Hollywood fantasy about a dead World War II bomber pilot, Maj. Pete Sandidge (Tracy) who becomes guardian angel to another pilot, Capt. the special effects, though obviously fake, are effective. the general plot is somewhat cheesy, but it's interesting and entertaining. moreover this is actually a pretty tightly made and well constructed movie for the 40's, although there have been better.
