Summary: The story is located in Los Angeles in the sixties. An energetic widow, Frances Lacey, with her six children try to make a dream of theirs come true: to have a home of their own. "Being released during a spat of similar themed films didn't do A Home of Our Own any favours, but even now, its fault are all too obvious. Although it tries to be a heartwarming tale of a family bonding through overwhelming circumstances it ends being to desperate to please with clichéd dialogue and unmemorable performances."
