Not bad. Interesting story and ideas muted in impact by the usual overpowering blandness of TV movies of this period. I never thought I'd be so unexcited at the sight of Barbara Hershey removing her trousers

A film typical of television movies in the late 80s, early 90s; slow-moving, filled with melodrama, few truly important or memorable scenes, and a big name actor trying to carry the whole thing, in this case Brian Dennehy. Is there a real punchline or point to the whole thing? No, not really. Is it particularly exciting? No. Is Dennehy's excellent veteran performance the only good thing about it? Yes, it is.

"This is less a thriller than a test of audience sympathy."

Way above average for a television movie. Excellent acting, and a truly horrible murder scene.
