Summary: Derek has been injured in the war and is in hospital to have an operation. The doctor opens the window and the lovely singing of Helen Maxwell drifts into the room as Derek is anaethetised. Alas, when he wakes up it is with his memory gone. He doesn't remember his fiancee, and his mother is a stranger to him. Four years later, Derek is playing the piano in a club, and Helen appears as the singer. The moment she opens her mouth, he freezes - he recognises her voice! (imdb)
