The acting and "science" are very fake (I can stomach bad effects). On top of that, they had to get preachy about greed and the power of nature. Interestingly, one of the many clichés turned out to be the best scene: when they killed the black guy first.

Kind of fun time traveling flick. Sure, the effects are painfully bad at times but the concept is great, and the acting is adequate. The primate dinosaurs make up for it though. Cool.

Fails in acting, fails in special effects, fails in writing, fails in editing. For what it fails at it makes up for as a roaring good time laughing at how bad this pile is.

A completely terrible production with shockingly regressive ideas about evolution. The line "humans were the last to evolve" betrays some ridiculous "great chain of being" crap (look it up).

Oh good God no... Terrible CGI-effects and a very strange "re-interpretation" of Ray Bradbury's classic sci-fi/horror short. Apparently time changes in waves, sort of like the blast from an explosion. Yes. Time needs time to change... uh... time... You know that, when no one said stop already in the development phase of concepts like baboon-dinosaurs and bat-pterodactyls, you won't be in for a particularly clever ride...

whether it was bad directing/production or force majeure (production company bankruptcy) that ultimately gave the movie its Ed Wood feel, I don't know, but rewatching the movie, it was actually more coherent than I remember. Sure the CGI is sub "mid90s-computer-game-cutscenes" and Ben Kingsley's wig scares me a hell of a lot more than the evil baboon-reptile-whateverthefucks, but at the heart of the movie there actually lies a decent enough attempt at adapting the original short story.

A low budjet version of a brilliant scifi short story. Shame on you! The short story part was excecuted poorly and the rest of the movie was utterly fairytale and nothing to do with Bradbury's award winning sharpness of pen.

hmmm... my psi said I should rate it at 5, but a movie that combines Time Cop and Evolution can't really be that bad. Two wrongs make a right and all of that. The CGI are terrible and there are some obvious flaws in the storie i.e. time waves and butterfly effect (they actually use a butterfly so that even Timmie can catch up). A friend of mine found the baboons rather stupid, I on the other hand forgive the movie it's stupidity. COME ON THE RAPTORS in this movie are BABOONS! What's not to love!

The premise was stupid, their ideas on how evolution worked were idiotic and the concept of time waves, a central theme to the pacing of the film, was just nonsensical. With all that said, it was a mindless action film with some nice effects (and some bad ones).

A film that starts from the very beginning with killing animals just for the fun of it.. So unoriginal it feels like a bad mix of Jurassic Park and a time travelling B-movie. Don't waste your time, not even to see what a bad film looks like.

I watched this in a theater with ten people and my girlfriend and I were the only ones to make it until the end. The terrible ratings are justified... and yet, this movie is my sugary dessert. I know it's bad for me, but I just don't care. It's a shame that budget issues left it looking so cheesy because the ideas are there. They don't make a lick of sense, but they sure are fun to discuss later. 8/10 people won't be able to stand this film, and the other 2 will love it. :)

The "time waves" were ridiculous enough (and apparently invented just to make a short story long enough to make a movie), but the plot's internal inconsistencies bordered on the ludicrous.
Bradbury's original story is much better, more concise and significantly more subtle.
