Damned if the title of A Star is Bored doesn't tempt fate. Inflicting upon this Bugs & Daffy short a kind of repetition that's reminiscent of the largely mediocre Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote catalog, this Freleng tune settles into a destructive pattern well before its whole runtime has elapsed - thus causing boredom. Inspiring precisely zero laughs, it's perhaps the blandest of those entries that pit Bugs and Daffy against each other in a battle of wits.

Funny satire on Hollywood stardom and the star/double-relationship. Notice the director with a thick german accent. I'm thinking Fritz Lang? "Rrrrooll 'em!"
