Summary: The movie is based on a children's series by the same name. Meg and Charles Wallace are aided by Calvin and 3 interesting women, Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Who in the search for their father who disappeared during an experiment he was working on for the government. Their travels take them around the universe to a place unlike any other. They must learn to trust each other and to understand that everyone is different. (imdb)

Poorly made adaptation of the book. The CGI was average at best for a made-for-TV-movie made in 2001, but frankly that isn't saying much.

A fairly weak adaptation: Meg is slightly less funny-looking than she should be, Charles Wallace is slightly less odd, and her family is slightly too normal. All these "slight" moderations make for a lacklustre depiction of Madeleine L'Engle's book.
