Such a wasted opportunity. All the good aspects are squandered by so many poor parts - pointless jump scares, plot holes, CGI babies - and the fact that by the end it's just violence for the sake of violence. This is from someone who does hold ridiculously gory and transgressive films highly, but by the end when it becomes more and more violent, it feels like there is no point to what happens except that the directors felt they had to make it nasty without any real drive behind it

First part gives great horror, second part gives great gore. Although second part looses common sense a bit, it's fucking scary, period.

Quite possibly one of the best veiled arguments for birth control ever committed to film. Cringe-inducing and unapologetic, À l'intérieur is worth your time.

Extra gory and quite cringeworthy. But for a movie to be really scary it also has to allow suspension of disbelief. Inside does a lot better in that department than your run-of-the-mill slasher, but still not enough. Its decision to go over-the-top with splatter is detrimental. It would have been scarier if it had one less kill, a few less blood-squirting injuries. The story is a pretty regular "home invasion" thing and a mystery pretty easy to figure out.

This is such a great great horror thriller movie..some stuff in this movie is so haunting and fresh...love this movie a lot

On the Saw scale of blood-and-guts-based thrills, where 1 is rather good and 5 is absolute crap, this movie rates about a Saw 3. The concept had potential, and the lead characters were very strong, but the writers really took the story down some stupid paths. Quite a lot of nonsensical set pieces getting in the way of some decent special effects and shock value. Beatrice Dalle gives Charlotte Gainsbourg a run for her money in the creative use of scissors department.

The execution of the film deserves 100/100, but minus 5 for the stupid shots of the baby squirming inside the womb, minus 5 for the forced caesarian umbilical cord bit, and minus 20 for the fact THE PLOT WAS SO STUPID IT WAS AS IF TEENAGERS HAD CREATED IT. But then given it to increasingly talented people to write, direct, and produce.

Gory? Very much. Even more impressive however is its comprehension of tension, its ability to build up suspense and - somehow - maintain that same suspense through several gross knife, hairpin and, most commonly, knife stabbings and penetrations.

Gruesome Movie, terrific story,damn brutal gore effects & great atmosphere... except the bad baby-cgi scenes one of the best Horror-Movies in the last years...only toped by "Martyrs"... Must have for all Fans of this Genre... French Horror rulez!

From the beginning car accident you know you're in for a gore-fest of ridiculous proportions. For about a half hour the film has some excellent surreal tenseness about it but, after that, it becomes a massive exploration in utterly tasteless violence with one of the most ludicrous plots ever encountered. While no one is able to shrug off the massive bodily damage, rather they slog through multiple mortal wounds as the movie delves further and further into torture porn.

Didn't scare me but instead did something far more admirable, made me uncomfortable as hell for its entire running time. A great horror movie that should be watched by all interested in the genre.

Wow!!! This has to be the most unpleasant movie experience ever. I hate gore. For me it is boring and stupid. Normally I can never get emotionally involved in gore movies. This movie accomplished that. And therefore I guess I have to respect it.

Starts off fantastic, but runs out of steam about 2/3 of the way through when illogical character actions, a few ugly cheesy effects and zany, out of place moments demand too much from suspension of disbelief. I can live with that in a dumb 80's slasher, but not with something that wants me to take it this seriously. Still decent, but lots of missed potential here.

Wow. One of the most intense and disturbing horror films I've seen in a long time - pretty much since Saw 1 and 2. Do you have to guts to see a very pregnant woman mutilated? I dare you...

I like the sets and visuals, but as a movie they fail for good. Score was annoying, directing sucks and action did not give always logical or the best possible direction. Leading actress was good, but I pretty hated the others. And the clue in the end was not that intrigue. The title then again was meaningful, in both ways.

Best Horror in Ages! Impeccably paced and shot. More than gore and disturbing content, this is brutally tense madness at it's best! MAKE SURE TO GET THE UNRATED VERSION!!!
