Summary: Madhavankutty (Jayaram), an Ayurvedic doctor on the death row, accused of two murders he didn't commit, escapes from jail, with the help of jail superintendent Mathew Stephen's (Nedumudi Venu) daughter Emi (Mathu), to prove his innocence. He ends up in a forest area where he is given refuge by Velu Asan (Thilakan), an elderly man, who had mistakenly shot Madhavankutty.
