Summary: Balakrishnan (Mukesh) who is sick and has a heart disease, gets a heart transplant from a man (Aby Mathew) who died in a recent car accident. Part remake of James D. Parriott's 'Heart Condition' and part remake of Jerry Zucker's 'Ghost', both which came out 2 years before this. Still, to Kamal's credit, he did branch out the story a bit by introducing a 3rd character to the mêlée - Sreenivasan's Inspector Damu - who provides some lighter moments with the sub-plot about his family.
