A TV disease movie. Whee. The presence of an elderly Karl Malden in the cast made me wish I was seeing _On the Waterfront_ or _I Confess_ or any of the dozen or so other vastly superior films in which he's appeared. The courtroom parts in the latter half would have been better had there been fewer histrionics. But these people always just gotta play to the cheap seats
