Summary: Unwed single mother Vanaja (Urvashi) & her daughter Ashwathy (Meera Jasmine) were more of friends than mother & daughter, but when Ashwathy falls in love with struggling ambulance chaser Ijo (Narein), Vanaja opposes it because Ijo was an orphan, didn't have a family & she wanted to marry Ashwathy off into a big family. Infuriated, Ashwathy demands to know why they didn't have a family themselves & who her father was. Vanaja refused to answer & this drives Ashwathy away from her. (by iceblox)
